Every Inch Has To Be Walked

Karaj has just phoned. I talked about the mind and that I’d never have thought six months ago that I’d be able to do what I’m doing – that I’d have made the progress I’ve made. It’s only possible because all the tiny steps which have been made up until now have to be made.

He said that every inch has to be walked. That’s the reason for the boredom because the mind walks the entire path in an instant, yet every inch still has to be walked. Hence the feeling of not being in the landscape; of being elsewhere other than in the moment.
