Noticeable Progress

This evening’s men’s group was the start of a ground-breaking weekend of relaxed, flowing fun. I felt different. More aware of myself and of others. I engaged myself much more in the group and enjoyed the interactions. As it turned out it would be the same all weekend.

And I was also pleasant to be around. That might not seem anything revelatory but this time it was natural – not forced or polite. I was being me and if people didn’t like me then it wasn’t a problem. The paradox being that with that attitude I was more genuine, more kind, more generous and more friendly than ever. All the while I was maintaining my balance and not being cocky. It was fantastic.
